Job Summary:

To take control of all day-to-day corporate legal functions of the Company and its other group companies, including responsibility to formulate policies, their implementation and compliances thereof. Primarily, you shall be responsible for all business contracts, HR-legal subjects, commercial litigations, etc.; and thereby upkeep the legal health of the Company.

Roles and Responsibility:

Enterprise Litigation & Risk Management:

Lead and oversee litigation and dispute resolution strategy to minimize legal and financial exposure across the organization.

Contracting & Commercial Risk Governance:

Drive contract strategy and lifecycle management to protect business interests and ensure commercial risk control.

Regulatory, Compliance & Licensing Governance:

Ensure enterprise-wide statutory, telecom, ISP, and regulatory compliance including licensing, reporting, and regulatory interface.

Corporate Transactions & Strategic Expansion Support:

Support Legal Counsel in M&A, investments, corporate structuring, and domestic/cross-border expansion initiatives.

Strategic Legal Advisory to Business Leadership:

Provide proactive legal counsel to business and functional heads, enabling compliant and growth-oriented decision making.

Legal Function Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment:

Act as second-in-command to Legal Counsel, driving cross-functional alignment, stakeholder engagement, and operational leadership of the legal function.

Qualification & Skills:

• Should have 10-12 years of experience.
• Have LLB Degree.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to balance business with legal risks.
• Good to strong drafting/negotiations skills.
• Understanding of current affairs, including change is legal/statutory/regulatory positions, regimes.
• Ability to face new challenges and willingness to be hands on to do the necessary.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethics and excellent inter-personnel skills.
