DGM - Civil River Water intake (Raipur)

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Deputy General Manager will be responsible for overseeing water supply projects from rivers, focusing on large-scale water intake and supply systems. The key responsibilities include:

· Planning and executing water supply projects from rivers to meet the operational needs of power and energy facilities.

· Managing the design, construction, and commissioning of large water supply systems.

· Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental standards in water management.

· Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize water supply efficiency.

· Implementing innovative solutions for sustainable water sourcing and distribution.

· Providing technical expertise and guidance on river water intake and water supply projects.

Education Qualification:

· B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Certification Required:

· Relevant certifications in Water Management or Project Management (preferred).

Experience:

· 18-22 years of experience in the Power/Energy industry and 5-8 year in large-scale water supply projects.

Technical Skills:

· Expertise in river water intake systems and large-scale water supply projects.

· In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes and distribution systems.

· Proficiency in project planning, execution, and monitoring for water supply initiatives.

· Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental guidelines related to water management.
