Job Description

We are looking for a DFT Engineer with strong experience in MBIST implementation to join our VLSI team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in memory test architecture, MBIST insertion, and debugging for complex SoC designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement MBIST architecture for embedded memories in SoC/ASIC designs.
• Perform MBIST insertion, integration, and verification.
• Generate and debug MBIST test patterns and fault coverage.
• Work closely with design, physical design, and verification teams for successful DFT implementation.
• Debug memory failures and MBIST-related issues during simulation and silicon bring-up.
• Support ATPG integration and DFT sign-off activities.
• Ensure high test coverage and quality for memory testing.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in MBIST architecture and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Mentor Tessent MBIST or equivalent tools.
• Good understanding of memory repair concepts (BIRA/BISR).
• Experience in DFT concepts such as Scan, ATPG, and Boundary Scan.
• Knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog and digital design concepts.
• Experience in debugging MBIST failures and improving memory test coverage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SoC DFT integration.
• Knowledge of low power DFT techniques.
• Scripting knowledge in TCL / Perl / Python is a plus.

Education

Bachelors / Masters Degree in Electronics / Electrical / VLSI Engineering or related field.
