Job Description

About Future AGI

Future AGI is an AI lifecycle platform designed to support enterprises throughout their AI journey. We combine rapid prototyping, rigorous evaluation, continuous observability, and reliable deployment to help organizations build, monitor, optimize, and secure generative AI applications.

We're the first to offer open-source AI Simulation alongside a complete loop of evaluation, optimization, guardrailing, and monitoring so teams can go from prototype to production with confidence. Our SDK works with OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and CrewAI out of the box.

Backed by Powerhouse Ventures and Snow Leopard Ventures, with offices in San Francisco and Bangalore.

The Opportunity

We need sharp, community-driven students in Seattle, San Francisco, and New York to be the face of Future AGI in the AI developer community. You'll attend real AI/ML events, give talks to rooms of engineers, organize Future AGI-branded events, and connect us with the people building production AI.

You'll work directly with the founder. You'll shape how we build our US developer community from scratch. And if you crush it, this is a direct path to a full-time role as we scale our US team.

This is for people who already live in the AI community you go to meetups because you want to, not because someone asked you to. We're just giving you a platform, a stipend, and a mission.

What You'll Do
  • Represent Future AGI at 23 AI/ML meetups and developer events per month in your city network with attendees, give 510 minute lightning talks about AI evaluation and observability, distribute swag and promo codes
  • Organize or co-host 2-3 Future AGI-branded event per Month a hands-on workshop, or co-hosted meetup with a university AI club or local community group. We provide the content, slides, and demo you handle logistics and turnout
  • Give live demos of the Future AGI platform at events using a pre-loaded demo account. Walk engineers through tracing a request, running an eval, and blocking unsafe output with guardrails. We'll train you on the product
  • Submit a short weekly recap of events attended, people met, conversations that resonated, and any warm leads. Intro high-potential contacts (engineers at companies building with LLMs) directly to our founding team
  • Create 24 LinkedIn posts per month event recaps, takeaways from talks, or your own takes on AI evaluation. Build your personal brand while building ours
  • Be our eyes and ears on the ground tell us what developers are struggling with, what tools they're using, which competitors they mention, and which events are worth showing up to.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Currently enrolled college student (undergrad or grad) or recent bootcamp graduate based in Seattle, SF, or NYC
  • Already active in the AI/ML developer community you attend meetups, run a club, or participate in hackathons. This isn't your first event
  • Can explain what LLM evaluation and observability mean to a room of engineers without reading from slides
  • Comfortable speaking to groups of 20200 people and networking with strangers at events
  • Have built something with AI a project, a blog post, a tutorial, an open-source contribution, or a side project
  • Strong written communication can write a clear LinkedIn post or event recap
  • Available 45 hours/week, primarily on weekends, for at least one semester (4 months)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience organizing meetups, hackathons, or campus events
  • Active Twitter/X or LinkedIn presence with a developer following
  • Experience with AI observability or evaluation tools (Future AGI, Arize, Langfuse, Braintrust, Weights & Biases)
  • Technical blog, YouTube channel, or open-source contributions
  • Previous DevRel, developer advocacy, or community management experience
  • Familiarity with Python and AI/ML frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI)

What It Takes to Thrive Here

This role is different from a typical internship. You'll do well if you:

  • Show up and own it Nobody's going to micromanage your calendar. You see an event worth attending, you go. You see a speaking slot open, you take it. You take initiative and make things happen.
  • Can hold a room You're not shy about walking up to strangers at a meetup, introducing yourself, and having a real conversation about AI infrastructure. People remember you after meeting you.
  • Think like a founder You don't wait for instructions. You see an opportunity to get Future AGI in front of the right people, and you act on it. You suggest ideas, not just execute tasks.
  • Communicate proactively You submit recaps on time, flag hot leads quickly, and keep the team informed without being chased.
  • Build in public You're comfortable posting on LinkedIn, sharing your thoughts on AI, and putting yourself out there. Your personal brand grows alongside ours.
Why This Could Be the Best Decision You Make
  • You'll actually matter You're not employee #5,000. You're shaping how Future AGI enters the US market. Your work has a direct, visible impact on the company's growth.
  • Founder-level access Weekly contact with the CEO and founding team. Ask questions, get mentorship, understand how a venture-backed startup actually works from the inside.
  • Network that compounds Every event you attend, every person you meet, every post you write builds your reputation in the AI community. This compounds for years after the program ends.
  • Path to full-time We're building our US team. The ambassadors who perform become the first hires. This isn't hypothetical it's the plan.
