JD Summary DevOps

Responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprisegrade CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation frameworks. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problemsolving ability, and the capability to lead solution design, mentor junior engineers, and influence engineering best practices across teams.

MustHave Technical Expertise

Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration Management & Automation

• Strong handson experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Python for IaC, configuration management, and workflow automation.
• Ability to architect reusable modules, enforce policies, and drive standardization across environments.

Agile Delivery & Planning

• Experience in Sprint planning, backlog grooming, and translating requirements into actionable Epics/Stories using Atlassian Jira.

Collaboration & Knowledge Management

• Strong documentation and collaboration skills using Confluence to create architecture diagrams, operational playbooks, and runbooks.

Change & Release Management

• Familiarity with enterprise change workflows through ServiceNow (SNOW), ensuring compliance, traceability, and risk mitigation.

CI/CD Tooling

• Expertise with endtoend pipeline development using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, and related tools.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and selfservice CI/CD frameworks.

Source Code Management & Quality Gates

• Strong experience with Bitbucket, GitHub Enterprise, branching strategies, and repository governance.
• Proficiency with code scanning and quality tools like SonarQube.

Security & Compliance Automation

• Handson exposure to security tools such as Fortify, Trivy, Inspec, and integration of DevSecOps controls into CI/CD workflows.

Observability & Monitoring

• Experience with observability platforms including AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar stacks.
• Ability to define SLOs/SLIs, alerts, and dashboards.

Containerization & Orchestration

• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment patterns, scaling strategies, helm charts, and cluster troubleshooting.

Cloud & Platform Expertise

• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and OnPremises infrastructure.
• Ability to design hybrid-cloud architectures, automate provisioning, and implement costoptimized and secure solutions.

Preferred Skills & Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture discussions and formalize DevOps strategy for enterprise-scale systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence engineering best practices across teams.
• Drive the adoption of DevOps, automation-first culture, and reliability engineering patterns.
