Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Oversee skill development and provide guidance on complex technical issues.
• Cloud-Native Solutions: Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using both AWS and Azure services. Apply advanced design patterns and leverage the latest technologies to support large-scale product development.
• CI/CD Pipeline Optimization: Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar. Focus on automation, security, and efficiency in the software delivery process.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes. Implement strategies for service discovery, load balancing, and auto-scaling.
• Infrastructure Automation: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm Charts, and Python to automate and manage infrastructure deployment and configuration.
• Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation, CI/CD enhancements, and infrastructure management.
• Monitoring & Observability: Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana or ELK Stack. Ensure comprehensive observability and proactive issue resolution.
• Cloud Services Expertise: Leverage a broad range of AWS services (IAM, EC2, S3, Glacier, VPC, Route53, EBS, EKS, ECS, RDS) and Azure services (Azure Active Directory, Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, Virtual Network, Azure Kubernetes Service, SQL Database) to build and maintain robust cloud infrastructure.
• Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis: Lead incident response efforts, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
• Process Improvement: Define and optimize development, testing, release, and support processes for DevOps operations. Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices across the team.
• Architecture & Development Collaboration: Actively participate in architecture design and software development activities, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals.
• Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives related to process improvements, operational efficiency, and technology adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, including at least 3 years in a leadership or tech lead role. Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects.
• Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or similar certifications are highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with modern DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and infrastructure automation. Proficiency in containerization with Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of both AWS and Azure cloud services, including but not limited to IAM, EC2, S3, VPC, EKS, AKS, and Azure SQL Database.
• Monitoring Skills: Strong experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, or ELK Stack, with the ability to design and implement effective monitoring solutions.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, manage complex projects, and drive technical and process improvements.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies.
• Agile/SCRUM Knowledge: Working knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies and traditional SDLC project execution.

Preferred:

• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as serverless computing, edge computing, and advanced observability tools.
• Background in security practices and compliance frameworks in cloud environments.
