What You’ll Contribute

  • Collaborate in a devops environment where you will work closely with developers in automating new applications, features, and services.
  • Support enterprise standards around technology, security compliance and systems interoperability for FICO products/solutions.
  • Assist in developing scripts to automate development operations functions or processes –Cloud Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration.
  • Research and implement automation tools to replace existing manual processes and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with other engineers on design, analysis, architecture/modeling, implementation, unit testing, code reviews and process enhancements.
  • Optimize performance and scalability as necessary to meet business goals.
  • Deliver customer solutions using open source and commercial technologies. 
  • Deliver full automation pipeline using CI/CD/DevOps concepts, tools and technologies (Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Git/Stash, Nexus, Puppet/Chef). 
  • At least 3+ years of experience with performance test simulations, performance analysis, and performance monitoring.
  • Design, maintain and enhance performance testing framework components.
  • Develop a comprehensive performance testing strategy, including detailed Non-Functional Requirements (NFR). Translate the requirements into appropriate test scenarios.
  • Create LoadRunner scripts with Rest API and Web protocols.
  • Jmeter and K6 tools experience required
  • Design, script and execute load, stress and endurance testing and deliver comprehensive reports to the project team.
  • Review, analyse and document test results and metrics with recommendations to the engineering leaders and senior managers of the engineering team.
  • Develop and execute performance test scripts using Gatling, leveraging advanced custom coding capabilities. Knowledge of LoadRunner, JMeter, K6, or similar tools with advanced custom coding skills is beneficial.
  • Have exposure to Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk and Datadog to monitor and enhance application performance.
  • Implement chaos testing to evaluate system resilience and robustness under adverse conditions.
  • Hands-on Experience in Agile Scrum and Waterfall Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Well versed in using Continuous Integration and Continuous Development tools, like Jenkins / GitHub Actions or any other.
  • Able to manage multiple work streams, independent, able to communicate well in both written and spoken form.
  • Broad experience working in cross-functional teams to drive product development.
  • Experience in creating test strategy and test plans, and executing performance and load testing activities for large-scale, enterprise-class applications.
  • Experience in designing and developing automated reporting. Automate repetitive manual tasks to improve efficiency and streamline performance testing processes.
  • Willing to work in a highly dynamic environment with tight deadlines and ever changing priorities. 

What We’re Seeking

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in a computer engineering position or related occupation.
  • 3+ years of overall experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with performance testing tools, monitoring tools, automation tools, Java profiling, and technical analysis.
  • This role requires operational exposure to DevOps and CI/CD. Develop a technical and functional grasp of our product architecture. This role requires to participate in the continuing performance enhancement of our products.
  • Experience in operating highly-available, redundant, public cloud architectures solutions utilizing IaaS and PaaS.
  • Experience in driving engineering automation from CI/CD, infrastructure provisioning, monitoring & alerting to developer support.
