DevOps Engineer

Blue Spire is looking for talented Harness DevOps Engineers who have hands-on experience with Harness CI/CD, strong automation skills, and a deep understanding of cloud-native delivery pipelines. You will play a key role in modernizing our BFSI client's release processes, optimizing deployment strategies, and driving engineering efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Harness CI/CD pipelines for application deployments across multiple environments.
• Integrate Harness with Git, Jira, artifact repositories, monitoring tools, and cloud platforms.
• Automate workflows using YAML pipelines, scripts, templates, and Harness modules (CI, CD, Cloud Cost Management, Feature Flags).
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform/Helm/Kubernetes.
• Manage deployments to Kubernetes, VMs, containers, and serverless platforms using Harness.
• Implement progressive delivery strategies such as canary, blue/green, multi-service rollouts, and automated rollback.
• Monitor pipeline performance and optimize build/test/deploy stages.
• Ensure security and compliance-by-design through policy-as-code, secrets management, RBAC, and governance workflows.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and collaborate with engineering, QA, cloud, and SRE teams.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of DevOps experience with at least 1+ years hands-on Harness CI/CD.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE), Helm charts.
• Proficiency in GitOps, Git branching strategies, and code-based pipelines.
• Scripting in YAML, Python, Bash, Shell, or Groovy.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, release engineering, and DevOps best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Harness Feature Flags, CCM, Chaos Engineering.
• Exposure to ArgoCD, Tekton, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
• Experience with service mesh, canary analysis (Kayenta), or SRE practices.
• Security tools: Snyk, SonarQube, Aqua, Twistlock.
• Certifications: CKA/CKAD, AWS/Azure/GCP DevOps certifications.
