DevOps & AWS Cloud Engineer

Join us as a DevOps & AWS Cloud Engineer at Dedalus, supporting our global technology landscape. You’ll play a central role in designing, migrating, and operating cloud-based CI platforms while supporting high-availability infrastructure that powers critical healthcare solutions.

What you’ll achieve

As a DevOps & AWS Cloud Engineer, you will architect, implement, and support scalable cloud infrastructures that drive Dedalus' digital transformation initiatives. You’ll lead the migration from on-premises platforms to AWS, enhance reliability and performance, and ensure seamless CI/CD operations for internal development teams. Your work directly enables faster releases, stable systems, and efficient development workflows across the organization.

You will:

  • Design, build, and operate highly scalable, reliable AWS cloud architectures.

  • Manage and support DevOps toolchains (GitHub, Nexus, Jenkins, CloudBees, etc.) in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

  • Architect and implement DevOps processes—including automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code.

  • Develop automation solutions using scripting and development languages such as Bash, Python, and Java.

  • Implement and operate monitoring solutions for AWS and on-prem infrastructure to proactively detect and resolve system issues.

  • Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to support build, testing, and deployment workflows.

  • Administer and operate AWS services that align teams with the Dedalus cloud strategy.

  • Provide training, documentation, and Level-1/Level-2 support for internal teams.

  • Follow up on license management and procurement activities.

  • Contribute to the migration from Proof-of-Concept to full operation for the cloud-based CI platform and systems.

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed

Education

  • PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud automation, and CI/CD operations.

Technical & Core Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture.

  • Expertise in Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CloudBees, Nexus, and GitHub.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud frameworks (Terraform, CDK, etc.).

  • Proficiency with Docker, Bash, Python, Java, Elasticsearch.

  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration.

  • High autonomy and ability to manage multiple complex tasks.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent English (C2 level, written and verbal).

  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

  • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
