Required Skills & Experience

• Expertise in GCP DevOps tools (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• IaC mastery: Deployment Manager, Terraform.
• Container orchestration: GKE, Helm, GitOps.
• DevSecOps integration: SonarQube, Trivy, policy-as-code.
• Observability: Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Trace.
• Release engineering: blue/green, canary deployments.
• FinOps & governance: budgets, tagging, cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline & Release Architecture: Design CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions; enforce Git strategies and implement progressive delivery (blue/green, canary).
• Infrastructure Automation: Architect IaC using Deployment Manager and Terraform; enable automated environment provisioning and configuration management.
• Container Orchestration: Design and manage containerized workloads using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE); integrate Helm charts and GitOps workflows.
• Security & Compliance: Embed security gates in pipelines, implement IAM best practices, enforce encryption using Cloud KMS, and integrate Security Command Center.
• Observability & Reliability: Implement monitoring and logging using Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and Trace; automate rollback and disaster recovery strategies.
• Cost Optimization: Apply GCP Cost Management tools, Billing Reports, and committed use discounts; implement tagging and governance frameworks.
• Migration & Modernization: Lead migration of workloads to GCP using Migrate for Compute Engine and Database Migration Service; modernize applications using serverless and container-native patterns.
