DevOps Architect

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable DevOps architectures across multiple environments.
• Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, and JFrog Artifactory.
• Define branching strategies, code integration workflows, and automated deployment frameworks.
• Lead containerization strategies using Docker and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE preferred).
• Implement robust monitoring and observability using Grafana and integrate with Prometheus/ELK/other monitoring stacks.
• Collaborate with development, QA, cloud, and operations teams to streamline release processes.
• Evaluate and onboard new DevOps tools, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
• Define governance, security controls, and best practices for DevOps operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the CI/CD pipeline, build agents, container platforms, and cloud infra.

Core DevOps Tools

• Bamboo pipeline design, plans, deployments, agents, integrations.
• Bitbucket repository lifecycle management, branching strategies, pull request workflows.
• JFrog Artifactory repository management for binaries, artifact promotion, retention policies.
• Azure DevOps pipelines (classic/YAML), repos, environment management, release orchestration.

Containerization & Orchestration

• Strong hands-on experience with Docker (image creation, optimization, security).
• End-to-end expertise in Kubernetes (cluster setup, RBAC, networking, Helm charts, autoscaling).

Monitoring & Observability

• Proficiency in Grafana dashboards, alerting, data source integrations (Prometheus/InfluxDB/Elastic).

Cloud & Automation

• Experience with Azure/AWS/GCP (preferably Azure).
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell).

Other Required Competencies

• Strong understanding of DevSecOps and shiftleft security practices.
• Proven experience in enterprise release management and deployment automation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
