Role: DevOps & Automation Architect

Required Technical Skill Set: Terraform, Ansible, AWS/Azure, or GitLab

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

(Ideally should not be more than 3-5) DevOps & CI/CD Architecture

Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.

Define DevOps strategy and tooling across development, testing, and production environments.

Integrate security and compliance checks into automated workflows (DevSecOps).

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Architect and manage infrastructure using Terraform/Cloud formation across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Develop reusable Terraform/Cloud formation modules and manage state securely.

Ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency of cloud infrastructure.

Configuration Management

Lead automation of system provisioning and configuration using Ansible.

Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for Linux and Windows environments.

Integrate Ansible workflows into CI/CD pipelines and cloud provisioning tools.

UI Automation & Framework Integration

Architect UI automation strategy for applications built on Semaform UI.

Design reusable test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with frontend tower teams to ensure test coverage and performance optimization.

Leadership & Collaboration

Act as a technical authority and mentor for DevOps and automation teams.

Collaborate with cross-functional tower teams including cloud architects, developers, QA, and security.

Define best practices, standards, and documentation for automation and infrastructure.

Good-to-Have

8 to 9 years of experience in DevOps, automation, and cloud infrastructure.

Expert-level proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD.

Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Knowledge with Semaform UI or similar custom UI frameworks.

Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
