Development Manager

Job Title: Development Lead (Full-Stack / Mobile & Backend) Experience: 710 years Previous Exp: Known mobile app organization, Reputed/Known Service companies (such as Deloitte, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc.)

Role overview

The Development Lead will own end-to-end delivery of product features by leading a cross-functional team of mobile frontend developers, backend engineers, and database administrators. The role requires hands-on technical expertise along with strong architecture and planning skills.

Key responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of mobile frontend developers, backend developers, and DBAs, ensuring high-quality delivery and professional growth.

Own technical design, architecture decisions, and code quality across frontend, backend, and databases.

Coordinate sprint planning, task breakdown, estimations, and release planning with product and project stakeholders.

Review and enforce coding standards, best practices, and performance/security guidelines across the stack.

Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps to deliver features on time and with high reliability.

Monitor system performance, scalability, and availability; drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvements.

Facilitate effective communication, conflict resolution, and clear alignment on priorities within the team.

Identify technical risks, dependencies, and blockers early and proactively work on mitigation.

Required skills & qualifications

710 years of software development experience, including prior experience as a senior engineer or tech lead.

Strong hands-on experience in at least one of: mobile frontend (React/React Native), backend (Node.js).

Solid understanding of modern web/mobile architecture, RESTful APIs, microservices, and database design.

Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.

Proven experience leading or mentoring engineers and driving end-to-end feature delivery.

Strong understanding of performance, security, scalability, and operational best practices.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Exposure to analytics, observability tools, and incident management processes.
