Job Overview:

A System Engineer is responsible of release, operation and monitoring of Java applications on Linux servers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Java applications on Linux systems
  • Analyzing application logs to find problems and solve them
  • Tuning applications to improve performance and optimize resources utilization
  • Designing and managing monitoring and logging tools
  • Troubleshooting of infrastructure and architecture problems.

  • RedHat Linux
  • Bash scripting
  • Java applications management
  • Cloud computing (AWS)
  • Kubernetes
  • Logging/Monitoring tools (Opensearch Suite, Grafana)

Functional & Technical Skills

  • Deep knowledge of network protocols
  • Linux systems commands
  • Strong proficiency in implementing Cloud solutions (AWS)
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles and practices and tools
  • Deep knowledge of JVM Tuning
  • Creating bash scripts to automate process
  • Implementing a relevant application monitoring
  • Growth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks
