Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Analyzes, tests and assists with the integration of new applications. Documents all development activity. Job Overview:

A System Engineer is responsible of release, operation and monitoring of Java applications on Linux servers

Key Responsibilities:

Managing Java applications on Linux systems

Analyzing application logs to find problems and solve them
Tuning applications to improve performance and optimize resources utilization
Designing and managing monitoring and logging tools
Troubleshooting of infrastructure and architecture problems.

RedHat Linux
Bash scripting
Java applications management
Cloud computing (AWS)
Kubernetes
Logging/Monitoring tools (Opensearch Suite, Grafana)

Functional & Technical Skills

Deep knowledge of network protocols
Linux systems commands
Strong proficiency in implementing Cloud solutions (AWS)
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles and practices and tools
Deep knowledge of JVM Tuning
Creating bash scripts to automate process
Implementing a relevant application monitoring
Growth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks
