Developer (Remote)

Cosmopole is an Abu Dhabiborn marketing communications consultancy proudly founded in Abu Dhabi. We help brands, institutions, and government departments turn insight into impact through culturally grounded campaigns, strategic storytelling, and people-first partnerships.

As we continue to grow our capabilities, were looking for a talented Developer to join our global team. The monthly salary available for this role is 50,000 and this can be on a part time basis based on experience.

This is a remote role were open to offshore candidates and can consider both full-time and part-time arrangements for the right person. Strong English language skills are essential.

What Youll Do

• Maintain and update existing websites (predominately WordPress), including our intranet and marketing websites
• Build and launch new pages, microsites, and occasional full-site builds
• Implement content updates, design changes, and plugin integrations
• Support with ad hoc technical requirements such as setting up API integrations for reporting and other purposes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues
• Collaborate with our digital and internal teams to deliver high-quality web experiences
• Support ad hoc development-related tasks and contribute to continuous improvement

What Were Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress development
• Exceptionally strong English language skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Strong eye for detail, continual quality control of your own work
• General understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
• Proven experience with custom themes, plugins, and page builders (e.g. Oxygen Editor, Elementor)
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimisation
