Job Summary

We are seeking a Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Databricks and Redshift. This role is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data solutions that drive business insights and support decision-making processes.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data solutions using Databricks and Redshift to support business needs.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to design and implement data pipelines.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices and performing regular audits.
  • Optimize data processing workflows to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data solutions and processes.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
  • Monitor and manage data storage and compute resources to ensure efficient usage.
  • Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Databricks and Redshift.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in data development.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
  • Show experience with data pipeline development and ETL processes.
  • Exhibit knowledge of data quality and data governance best practices.
  • Have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Possess strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Show a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Be detail-oriented and highly organized.
