What you`ll do 

Product Handover is a SaaS application of “SAP Integrated Product Development” in SCM Core Manufacturing Foundation area. This application enables the production engineers to derive the manufacturing BOM with configuration details maintained in source engineering BOM and send these to downstream processes in S/4 HANA along with incorporating changes in the product lifecycle in an efficient way.

As a Developer, you contribute to development in Product Handover. While coding will be your core task, in this role you will also have responsibilities as below:

Role Responsibilities

• Understand and contribute to concepts, specifications, high-level design, and product architecture as per your experience.
• Work on implementation based on design using appropriate technology, ensuring high quality through test-driven-development, peer reviews, manual and automated unit tests
• Self-learn new technologies and apply those in the product development in an integrated fashion
• Work independently for technical concepts and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Work with teams across organizational and geographical boundaries to develop the state-of-the-art SAP applications using cloud native technologies

           What you bring

• Master/ bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related
• 2+ years of experience in professional software development, preferably within a scrum team
• Strong Programming experience in JAVA (tools and frameworks), SAP UI5, Fiori, GitHub, OData, REST, Spring Boot, CAP programming module, Cloud Foundry.
• Solid experience with product delivery on cloud, passionate about test automations and DevOps including Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery.
• Eager to write high quality code with working knowledge of agile development methods, Test Driven Development
• Collaboration skills to work with others and sharing your knowledge and ideas
• Desirous to take responsibility for organizing and developing yourself
• Detailed knowledge of the SCM core Manufacturing processes is an added advantage
