Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Design Engineer specializing in Racking and Shelving Steel Systems. The role involves designing, detailing, and developing structural steel members and connections for industrial storage solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in steel structures, connection design, and drafting software.

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables

• Design and detail structural steel members for racking and shelving systems.
• Perform structural analysis and connection design as per applicable codes and standards.
• Prepare fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and shop drawings.
• Develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and site teams for design optimization and execution.
• Review and validate structural calculations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support cost optimization through efficient material selection and design improvements.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation stages.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical from a reputed industry.
• Knowledge of solid works, AutoCAD, connection designing etc.
• Experience 7-10 years, of which 4-6 years in designing / detailing steel members, connection designing etc.
• Industry focus PEB , Steel Structures, Structural consulting firms.
