Job Opening: Desktop Support Engineer Full-Time (On-Site), Pune

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Pune . This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for candidates who excel in troubleshooting and providing hands-on IT support.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day technical support for desktop computers, laptops, and related peripherals
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Offer effective printer setup, configuration, and troubleshooting support
• Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications
• Perform regular maintenance and repair of computer hardware
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and basic IT administrative tasks
• Ensure systems run efficiently and securely with timely updates and patches
• Collaborate closely with the IT team to maintain consistent system performance
• Log support requests, track issues, and ensure timely resolution
• Assist with IT asset management and inventory updates

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or diploma in IT/Computer Science (preferred)
• 13 years of experience in desktop or technical support
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and common applications
• Familiarity with computer hardware, printers, and basic networking
• Good problem-solving skills and customer-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
