The Role

We are looking to hire a skilled desktop support engineer to assist our clients with computer hardware and software issues. You will be required to work via remote connection and assist with hardware installations, software upgrades, systems integrations, and basic IT-related issues.

To ensure success as a desktop support engineer, you should have extensive knowledge of home and office systems, good problem-solving skills, and high-level interpersonal skills. A top-class desktop support engineer provides fast and effective support for clients experiencing basic hardware and software issues.

Desktop Support Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Responding to client support requests.

  • Contacting clients to find out the nature of the problem.

  • Traveling to the client’s location or connecting via a remote link.

  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

  • Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.

  • Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.

  • Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.

  • Advising on software or hardware upgrades.

  • Providing basic training in computer operation and management.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Must have 6-8 years of Desktop Engineering support experience.

  • Should have good knowledge of deep troubleshooting, hardware, software, applications like desktop, laptop, printers, network, VPN, OS and etc

  • Hands on experience with Desktop Support, Microsoft365 Applications stack support, Security tools.

  • Knowledge of different IT frameworks and tools with knowledge of advance troubleshooting.

  • Knowledge base creation and maintenance.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and customer stakeholders.

  • Must be fluent in English language(s)

  • Willing to work in 24* 7 Rotational and US Shift

 

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related technical field or equivalent practical experience

  • Desired Certifications - CompTiA, CISSP, Microsoft Security Operations Analyst, MCSE
