Job Description
IT Support Specialist
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance for desktops, laptops, file/print servers and data/telecommunications networks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Resolve issues with Windows, OSX, Office operations and desktop support
- Troubleshoot network problems pursuant to established procedures
- Deploy and re-image workstations (Mac & PC) for new and existing users ensuring all configurations meet company standards
- Maintain asset inventory of equipment for site (PCs, printers, servers etc.) ensuring accurate recordkeeping
- Configure and administer local phone system and coordinate wiring within network switch closet in accordance with established procedures
This role requires experience supporting Microsoft Server solutions including Windows 2008/2012 Server, Active Directory, TCP/IP experience is critical. You must also have experience supporting Apple Mac environments and Mac OSX.
