Design Thinking Mentor

Help kids imagine, tinker and create the futureone challenge, one prototype at a time.

This is a Mumbai-based role.

We are an early stage edtech startup teaching kids problem-solving and design thinking to reimagine the world, one challenge at a time. Originally started in the UK, we are now in India with our very own live app.

The Job

Are you a problem-solver? A design thinker? Passionate to make the world a better place? Inspire kids to do the same?

Were on the lookout for a Design Thinking Mentor who can spark curiosity and lead kids aged 9-13 through the journey of design thinking, from spotting problems to ideating and buildingprototypes.

Youll run interactive workshops online and offline in Mumbai, and help us make our core programme and app even better with your feedback.

Well hand you the content to work with, while you'll bring in the zing!

What Youll Do

• Lead fun, engaging and impactful sessions teaching kids design thinking.
• Add your own flair and playful energy to our ready-to-use resources.
• Share feedback to help us level up our programme, workshops and app.
• Track participation and jot down key takeaways so that every workshop just gets better.

Your Superpowers

• A solid grip on design thinking.
• Some experience teaching, mentoring kids would be fantastic.
• Passion for hands-on, maker-style learning.
• Background in education, design, innovation, product design or anything equally awesome.
• Comfortable with Zoom, Google Meet and other online teaching tools.

The Nitty-Gritty

• Where: A mix of offline (in Mumbai) and online sessions.
• When: Part-time / Freelance / Contract flexible
• Available 5-6 days a week, including Saturdays & Sundays.
• Can dedicate 3-4 teaching hours each day.
• Strong Wi-Fi, a laptop and webcam.
• Pay: Competitive, with a mix of fixed + variable components, based on your awesomeness and experience.
