Design Technology & IT Support Specialist

Studio Chintala is looking for highly capable IT & Design Technology Support Specialists who can support both core IT systems and architecture design software in a fast-paced, collaborative global environment.

This role sits at the intersection of IT support and architectural technology ideal for someone who understands how designers actually work.

Responsibilities

End User IT Support

• Serve as Tier 1 / Tier 2 support via ticketing system, phone, chat, and remote sessions.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft 365, VPN, MFA, connectivity, Zoom.
• Support Adobe Creative Cloud and other business applications.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and access-related issues with a customer-first mindset.

Design Technology Support

Provide day-to-day support for:

• Revit
• AutoCAD
• Bluebeam
• Rhino
• Grasshopper
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Assist with plug-ins, licensing, model performance, printing issues, file coordination.
• Escalate complex BIM or infrastructure-level issues when required.
• Collaborate with design teams to minimize workflow disruptions.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Accurately document tickets and resolutions in ITSM systems.
• Contribute to internal knowledge base documentation for recurring issues.
• Follow established troubleshooting and escalation protocols.

Onboarding & Training

• Support IT onboarding for new hires.
• Provide guidance on collaboration tools and standard design workflows.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 36+ years in Tier 1 / Tier 2 IT, DT, or Service Desk support.
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Windows OS
• Microsoft 365
• VPN & MFA systems
• Remote support tools
• Hands-on experience supporting architectural design software (Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, etc.).
• Familiarity with helpdesk tools such as Freshservice, Zendesk, or Jira Service Desk.
• Experience supporting hybrid / remote global teams.
• Strong communication skills and calm troubleshooting ability.
• Available to work aligned with U.S. business hours (PST / CST / EST).
