The Role

As a Design Strategist, you'll bridge the worlds of business, technology, and design. Youll uncover insights, envision future states, and translate complex problems into actionable strategiesguiding organizations through uncertainty with empathy and clarity.

Youll be a key contributor in project teams, collaborating with UX designers, illustrators, consultants, and clients to define strategic opportunities, design integrated solutions, and drive measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitatedesign strategy engagements across experience design and strategic visualization by driving end to end project delivery - from discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, customer journey mapping, information modelling, and prototyping
• Translate business challenges and user insights intoactionable strategic frameworks, concepts, and prototypes
• Lead & mentor multidisciplinary design teams that include illustrators, graphic designers, experience designers & Ui designers
• Contribute to the design of new services, products, and organizational models across industries
• Support client presentations, pitches, and executive stakeholder alignment through compelling storytelling and visualization
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business consultants, technology teams, and client stakeholders
• Stay current with design trends, innovation practices, and emerging tech (AI, data, sustainability, etc.)

What You Bring

• 8 + years of experience in design strategy, service design, UX strategy, innovation consulting, or a related field
• Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and impactful design solutions across industries
• Experience conducting user research and synthesizing insights into strategic recommendations
• Proficiency inapplying design thinking, human-centered design, and systems thinking approaches to a variety of end products including digital products, visualization, and communications.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skillsboth visual and verbal
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe CC, and PowerPoint/Keynote
• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Design, Strategy, Business, HCI, or related disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a consulting or professional services environment
• Exposure to AI, data-driven design, or sustainable innovation projects
• Familiarity with Agile/Lean methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
• Strong business acumen and comfort engaging with senior stakeholders
