Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead design & development of orthopedic/arthroscopy medical devices
- Create manufacturable designs using SolidWorks & AutoCAD
- Perform calculations, tolerance stack-ups & material selection
- Drive design reviews, risk analysis, and V&V activities
- Mentor junior engineers and review design outputs
- Ensure DFM for CNC, laser marking, anodizing, PEEK/titanium
- Maintain DHF, Technical Files, ECRs; ensure CE MDR / FDA / CDSCO compliance
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality & supply chain teams
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Medical device design experience (orthopedics preferred)
- Strong CAD, design controls & regulatory knowledge
