About the Role:

We are looking for skilled Design Engineers with hands-on experience in SolidWorks and trailer design. The role involves creating, modifying, and validating 3D models and detailed drawings to support manufacturing and product development requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop trailers and related components using SolidWorks.
• Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs in line with project specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, and procurement) to ensure design feasibility.
• Perform tolerance analysis, structural checks, and design optimization.
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation of designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field.
• 2 6 years of proven experience in design engineering using SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of trailer structures, chassis, suspensions, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to create detailed engineering documentation.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Exposure to finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation tools.
• Experience in heavy vehicle/trailer industry.
• Knowledge of fabrication and welding processes.
