Job Purpose: Develop and design products, equipment and tools to be able to produce product that meets high quality requirements and performance standards. Analyses equipment specifications and process requirements to conceive a practical design.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Reviews product development requirements for compatibility with methods to determine cost and schedules.
• Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet module target specifications and technology target specifications.
• Responsible for handing over method/process and equipment to production.
• Utilizes CAD (Computer Aided Design) or CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) systems to model new designs and produce detailed engineering drawings.
• Specifies precise new product functional requirements; designs, tests and integrates components to produce final designs; and evaluates the design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability and safety.
• Designs, develops, executes and evaluates fitness-for-use testing, product specifications and process validation plans; creates and reviews material part specifications and bills of materials
• Collaborates with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, designers and product.
• Ensures compliance with established industry safety and design standards and guidelines.

Your Profile: We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications and skills: 

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor's / Master’s degree in engineering preferably Mechanical
• 2-6 years of experience in product development in engineering /manufacturing industry.
• Experience in Design and Product Development
• UG NX 12, Teamcenter, SAP, Extra Extreme

Technical & Behavioral Competence:

• Proficient in UG‑NX and CAD/CAM for precision modelling and machining simulations.
• Experience in new product development, prototyping, and flexible design solutions.
• Knowledge of press tool design, automation, and GD&T application.
• Familiar with manufacturing processes, materials, and design feasibility.
• Skilled in simulation, design validation, and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with SAP EPLM and working knowledge of Teamcenter.
• Ability to design gauges, fixtures, and maintain CAPP families.
• Supports production in resolving design/method-related issues.
• Awareness of ISO standards and safety guidelines.
• Collaborative, proactive, adaptable, and effective in global team environments.
