Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

Design industrial machines, structures, and components using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.).

Perform engineering calculations, strength analysis, and FEA simulations.

Select appropriate materials and ensure manufacturability for welding, machining, and fabrication processes.

Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality teams to develop cost-effective and high-performance designs.

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation as per industry standards (ASME, ISO, DIN, etc.).

Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of design-related issues.

What Were Looking For:

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 3-8 years in design engineering for industrial machine manufacturing/fabrication.

Skills: Proficiency in CAD software,Solidworks, GD&T, FEA analysis, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Bonus: Experience with PDM/PLM systems,Tekla software and knowledge of manufacturing processes like CNC machining, casting, and sheet metal fabrication.
