Role Description

This is an on-site full time role for a Design Engineer located in Mumbai only. We are seeking a Design Engineer with strong project coordination skills, who can handle client communication, project execution, and 3D modelling work using SolidWorks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing engineering concepts to life while managing timelines, deliverables, and team coordination. Work Distribution: 60% Project Coordination + Client Communication 40% SolidWorks Modelling & Technical Design

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

Plan project execution, resources, renders, and delivery timelines.

Conduct project briefing, strategy meetings, and risk assessments with internal teams.

Manage workflow, track progress, and ensure deliverables are on schedule.

Drive target & review meetings, assign responsibilities, and ensure closure of action items.

Monitor and ensure adherence to project quality standards, handle revisions, and close loops.

Client Communication

Act as the single point of contact for clients during project execution.

Conduct client calls for project updates, requirement gathering, approvals, and feedback loops.

Prepare accurate progress summaries, MOM (minutes of meeting), and communicate next steps. Technical Design (SolidWorks + Visualization)

Create 3D CAD models in SolidWorks for animation and technical presentations.

Develop technical storyboards / scripts for engineering process animations.

Making 3D animation in Simlab Composer for Machine Working Mechanism/Installation/Operator Training.

Quality & Reporting

Monitor project quality and lead revision cycles with teams.

Plan render schedules and allocate resources for efficient delivery.

Support variable pay calculation inputs based on team performance metrics.

Qualifications

Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.

Experience in Design Engineering / SolidWorks modelling / project coordination.

Proficiency in SolidWorks (Basic to Advanced).

Strong at modelling, visualization, and understanding technical concepts.

Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
