Design Engineer (Jigs and Fixture)

We are hiring for a US Electromechanical component manufacturing company for Bangalore Whitefield location

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical

3-6 years design experience in gage and fixture design, tooling systems, selection of locating and clamping devices, guides and aligners based on project needs

Good knowledge and understanding of electromechanical products, components and assemblies

Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as molding, sheet metal tooling, fabrication of components and assembly processes

Proficient in using solid modeling software (Siemens NX) to generate 3D models & 2D drafting

Strong English verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely

Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and in a team

Good Exposure to Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

Ability to evaluate risk in design, come up with mitigation plans and assess solution alternatives

Ability to work independently, manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
