Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Engineer specializing in Fire & Public Health Engineering (PHE) at Qpro Design Consultants Pvt Ltd in Chennai. The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing detailed designs and plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, creating technical drawings, and ensuring compliance with local standards and safety regulations. The role will involve utilizing software tools for design and analysis while contributing to innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.

Qualifications

Plumbing & Fire Fighting Designer (Experience: 512 Years):Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Civili. Design & Prepare layouts for water supply, drainage, sewage and storm water systems.ii. Design hydrant, sprinkler and hose reel systems.iii. Perform basic Plumbing, Drainage hydraulic and fire water, pressure drop calculations.iv. Prepare GA drawings, schematics and risers.v. Coordinate with other disciplines and support authority submissions.vi. Ensure compliance with NBC, NFPA and local fire norms.vii. Knowledge on Indian and International codes & standards
