Designation: Deputy Manager- Design Architect

Role Type : Individual Contributor / People Manager

Reports To : Head Projects Cost Control

5 days week working opportunity

Job Summary : The role focuses on evaluating design efficiency, generating alternate layouts, preparing area statements, benchmarking and ensuring proposal compliance with regulatory norms.

Key Skills Required:

1. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM and MS Excel

2. Hold exposure to residential, commercial, MHADA, SRA, Plotted, SEZ, and redevelopment projects.

3. Ability to balance design with cost considerations.

4. Proficient with design byelaws and market practices.

5. Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills.

Desired Work Experience and Qualification:

1. B. Arch / M. Arch from a recognized architecture school.

2. 08 to 10 years of experience in architectural design, preferably with exposure to costing/budgeting function.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate design efficiency and recommend value engineering measures to optimize layouts.

2. Prepare area statements (carpet, built-up, saleable) and efficiency ratios for costing exercises.

3. Coordinate with consultants, in-house design, structural, MEP, and liaison teams for practical, cost-efficient, and compliant proposals.

4. Build and maintain a project database across the organization for benchmarking and design data comparison.

5. Develop tools/templates to streamline layout and area analysis, also with AI-based process enhancements.
