The organization supports outsourced technology and operations functions for Century Financial, delivering high-impact knowledge process services across trading systems, financial infrastructure, and capital markets technology.

Role Snapshot

We are seeking an experienced Derivative Analyst to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our derivatives trading business. The role is critical to ensuring smooth trade execution, post-trade processing, clearing, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance across Futures & Options markets.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the CQG trading platform and a strong background in derivatives operations. Experience with CleaRisk (or similar clearing/back-office systems) is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Trading Operations

• Oversee daily Futures & Options trading operations, including trade capture, allocations, confirmations, and settlements
• Ensure seamless front-to-back trade flow from execution through clearing and settlement
• Act as the primary operational point of contact for the trading desk

Platforms & Systems

• Manage and support operations on the CQG trading platform, including user setup, limits, permissions, and issue resolution
• Oversee back-office and clearing processes, with hands-on involvement in CleaRisk (where applicable)
• Coordinate with technology vendors and internal IT teams to resolve system issues and implement enhancements

Clearing, Risk & Controls

• Monitor margin requirements, positions, and exposure in coordination with clearing brokers and exchanges
• Ensure accurate daily reconciliations of trades, positions, margins, fees, and P&L
• Support risk management processes and escalation of operational or market-related issues

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure all Derivatives operations comply with our regulations and internal policies
• Maintain accurate operational records and support regulatory reporting and audits
• Work closely with Compliance, Risk, and Finance teams to maintain a strong control environment

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with traders, compliance, finance, clearing brokers, exchanges, and external service providers
• Participate in operational readiness for new products, markets, or exchange connectivity

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Futures & Options/ Derivatives trading operations (brokerage or clearing environment preferred)
• Strong hands-on experience with the CQG trading platform (mandatory)
• Solid understanding of derivatives lifecycle, margining, clearing, and settlement
• Experience working in a regulated financial environment

Preferred / Advantageous Experience

• Experience managing or using CleaRisk back-office/clearing system
• Experience interacting directly with clearing brokers and international exchanges
