Python Tech Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Engineering Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Python, AWS, and PostgreSQL, combined with excellent stakeholder management skills. You will lead a team of engineers, ensure high-quality system design, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers in developing robust, scalable applications.
  • Define best practices for coding, architecture, and deployment.
• Solution Design & Development:
  • Architect and implement solutions using Python, AWS services, and PostgreSQL.
  • Ensure system design aligns with business requirements and scalability needs.
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• System Design:
  • Drive end-to-end system design, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide guidance on architectural decisions.
• Quality & Delivery:
  • Oversee code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment processes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Proven experience in designing and deploying applications on AWS.
• Strong understanding of database design and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
