Associate Vice President / Deputy Vice President - Fund Accounting (custodian)

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Associate Vice President / Deputy Vice President to join our Capital Market team Mumbai. This is a critical leadership role responsible for building and managing the Fund Accounting function for our domestic mutual fund segment.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in mutual fund regulations and hands-on experience with the Multifonds system. This is a unique opportunity to establish new processes, build a team, and drive the implementation of a key system.

Key Responsibilities

• System Implementation: Lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation of the Multifonds system for fund accounting.
• Process Development: Design and establish robust fund accounting processes specifically for the domestic mutual fund segment.
• Team Leadership: Build, train, and manage a high-performing team to support all fund accounting operations.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee NAV computation, valuation, and regulatory reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Job Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years of dedicated experience in fund accounting operations for the domestic mutual fund industry.
• Technical Skills:
• Extensive, hands-on knowledge of the Multifonds system is mandatory.
• Excellent understanding of mutual fund regulations .
• Expertise in NAV computation, valuation, and regulatory reporting .
• Education: A bachelor's degree in Commerce or a Chartered Accountant qualification is required.
• Location: The position is based in Goregaon, Mumbai, near Infinity IT Park.
