Deputy Manager - Talent Acquisition

Role Overview

QUCEV is building next-generation electric mobility solutions, and we are looking for a hands-on Recruiter to support R&D, engineering, manufacturing and automotive talent hiring.

This role is critical in enabling our engineering roadmap, requiring someone who understands automotive R&D environments, engineering talent markets, and fast-paced hiring cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment for R&D, manufacturing and engineering roles.
• Partner closely with R&D leaders, engineering managers, and HR to deliver hiring plans.
• Drive niche and critical skill hiring in a competitive EV talent market.
• Build strong pipelines through direct sourcing, referrals, vendors, and job portals.
• Conduct initial technical screening and coordinate interviews through closure.
• Ensure process discipline, documentation, and offer-to-joining closure.
• Support scale-up hiring aligned with product development milestones.

What Were Looking For

• 47 years of recruitment experience, with mandatory exposure to automotive / EV / R&D hiring.
• Strong understanding of engineering roles and skill sets within automotive or electric mobility.
• Proven experience of hiring in startup, scale-up, or product engineering environments.
• Ability to work in a high-urgency, on-site setup.
• Comfortable with 6 days work from office (non-negotiable).

Good to Have

• Prior experience in EV startups, automotive R&D centers, or Tier-1 suppliers.
• Exposure to greenfield projects or early-stage organizations.
