Technical Skills - Understanding of materials, specifications, and standards (ASTM, ISO etc), Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, casting, forging, fabrication, OPEX, CAPEX, electrical / mechanical / civil components & SAP)

Key Responsibilities:-

OPEX Procurement

Procurement of consumables, utilities, spares, maintenance materials, and services.

Floating RFQs, comparison statements, and techno-commercial evaluations.

Negotiation with vendors for best price, payment terms, and delivery.

CAPEX Procurement

Sourcing of plant machinery, equipment, tools, project materials.

Coordination with engineering/project teams for technical specifications.

Managing AMC/Service contracts for capital equipment.

Budget tracking and cost optimization.

MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations)

Procurement of mechanical, electrical and utility spares.

Ensuring availability of critical spare parts to avoid downtime.

Vendor development for specialized engineering components.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of engineering components and industrial materials.

Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Good knowledge of vendor development and contract management.
