Deputy Manager

About the Role

Should have excellent Cost knowledge base & negotiation skills of gear, Shaft, Wheels, Pinion, Connecting Rod, Idlers & Sprockets. Excellent understanding of 2D Drawings & 3D Drawings to generate detailed RM, process costs.

Responsibilities

• Should be able to generate/develop should cost model for proprietary parts like Axles, Machines Gears, Warm gorging gears, Crank Shaft.
• Should cost MHR knowledge for different processes.
• Knowledge & market connect with suppliers base of gear, forging, warm forging, machining, casting etc to arrange quotes, negotiations and applications on day to basis.
• Responsible for Part cost assessment at supplier end.
• Responsible for Cost negotiation with Internal / External customers.
• Competition study, benchmarking of the similar parts/machines etc.
• Will work closely with internal customer to understand the project design / commercial variation.
• Knowledge on teardown & analysis of aforementioned components with price settlement experience.

Qualifications

• BE (Mechanical/Production)
• Having MBA will having the additional advantage.
• Experience 6-10 years.

Required Skills

• Familiar with primary manufacturing methods of gear & Shaft, Wheel & Pinion, Connecting Rod, Idlers & Sprockets.
• Buying knowledge base is must.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Computer skills Mandatory, proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint.
• Agile mind-set to work in very competitive environment.
