Brief about the Team
Tata 1mg partners with various hospitals and healthcare providers to provide medication and healthcare services to patients which may include pharmacy services such as medication dispensing, compounding, and counseling. This team manages to provide medications directly to patients at the hospital (bed side) or delivering medications to patients' homes after they are discharged from the hospital.
What will you do
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy department
Manage inventory, procurement, and distribution of specialized medications
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
Train and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
Implement quality control measures to enhance patient safety
Stay updated on the latest developments in cancer treatment and medications
Provide exceptional patient counseling and support
What we are looking for
Prior minimum 4 years of experience in same role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to patient care
Proficiency in advanced Excel and experience with billing systems in a pharmacy setting
