Role Description
The Fundraising, Deputy Manager will be responsible for managing ISPPs fundraising strategy, establishing and sustaining donor relationships, and ensuring effective grant acquisition and retention. The role requires strong research, proposal development, outreach and relationship-management skills, along with the ability to represent ISPP at external platforms and engage with diverse stakeholders across the public policy ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Donor Research & Strategy
- Identify CSR, foundation, HNI, multilateral and institutional funding opportunities.
- Maintain donor pipeline and support annual fundraising goals.
Outreach & Relationship Management
- Lead outreach to prospective donors and partners.
- Build and manage relationships with CSR leaders, foundations, and government stakeholders.
- Represent ISPP at external forums and meetings.
Proposal Development
- Prepare proposals, concept notes, grant applications and pitch decks.
- Coordinate internally to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely submissions.
Donor Servicing & Grant Management
- Manage donor communication, reporting and documentation.
- Support MoUs, due diligence and grant execution processes.
Events & Coordination
- Coordinate donor visits and engagement events.
- Maintain records and prepare periodic fundraising reports.
Qualifications
- Graduate in Management, Public Policy, Development Studies, Communications or related field. Post-graduate will be preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in fundraising, CSR partnerships, business development, or related roles. Experience of working in an academic institution is a plus.
- Proven experience in proposal writing, donor relationship management, databases, CRM and external representation.
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
