Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Strong foundation in semiconductor component selection, both active and passive components.
• In-depth understanding of end-to-end processes in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS).
• Strong knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
• Engages in the development and refinement of Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA/DFMEA/PFMEA).
• Ensures control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively at supplier locations.
• Promotes continuous improvement techniques such as Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis.
• Competent in BOM and Gerber file analysis, ensuring process documentation is in place and effective.
• Knowledgeable in the development of tools and fixtures for electrical and electronic parts
• Monitors and reports on key quality-related performance indicators, including scrap, rework, and parts per million (PPM) figures.
• Conducts vendor visits and evaluations in collaboration with the Design Engineering (DE) team.
• Conducts performance analysis of vendors based on process & product quality.
• Executes Design Change Request Notices (DCRN) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR/ECN).
• Ensures development of tool/ FTG & components delivery as per the project timeline
• Communicates and monitors supplier performance using structured rating methods
• Ensures compliance with Quality Management Systems (IATF 16949/ISO 9001) and assists in adherence
