Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


Develop and execute the long-term strategic plan for warehouse and logistics operations in alignment

with the organization's overall goals.

Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and operational efficiency

enhancements.

Provide leadership and direction to the warehouse management team.

Oversee the design and layout of warehouse facilities to maximize storage capacity and operational

efficiency.

Ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.

Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while meeting customer demands. Develop and

implement logistics strategies to optimize transportation routes and reduce costs.

Build and maintain relationships with transportation providers and negotiate favorable contracts.

Monitor transportation performance and ensure on-time deliveries. Develop and manage the

departmental budget, controlling expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Analyze cost and performance data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Lead and mentor a team of logistics and warehouse professionals, including managers and supervisors.

Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide training and development

opportunities.

Establish and oversee quality control measures to ensure products meet established standards.

Handle escalated customer complaints and returns, ensuring timely resolution.

Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to address product quality concerns.

Generate and present regular reports on warehouse and logistics performance, including key

performance indicators (KPIs).


Requirement:

Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management

10-12 years of experience in managing supply chain operations in an e-commerce/Retail or FMCG

organization

Six Sigma/Lean experience is a plus

Familiar with the design of SOPs, Work Instructions, and Job Aides to improve workflow and

compliance

Exceptional analytical, creative, technical project management and interpersonal skills, along with an

intense customer focus

Can work independently with a high degree of self-motivation
