Section II: Job Summary
The Design Civil Manager is responsible for leading, planning, coordinating, and managing civil and structural design activities for EPC projects. This role ensures that all civil design deliverables meet technical specifications, quality standards, project timelines, and budgetary constraints. The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and vendors to ensure the success of projects. |

Design Management | · Lead and oversee the development of civil and structural designs for various EPC projects, including industrial plants, infrastructure, and buildings. · Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, regulations, and project specifications. · Review and approve detailed design drawings, calculations, and technical documents. |
Project Coordination & Technical Leadership | · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams. · Act as the primary interface with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on design-related matters. · Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of design deliverables. · Provide technical expertise and guidance to the civil design team. ·Ensure the use of the latest design tools and methodologies to optimize project outcomes. ·Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering exercises. |
Resource Management | · Manage and mentor a team of civil engineers and designers. · Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands. · Identify training and development needs within the team. |
Quality Assurance | · Implement and maintain quality control processes for all design activities. · Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards in design. |
Documentation & Reporting | · Maintain accurate records of design activities, including reports, calculations, and drawings. · Provide regular updates and reports to project management and stakeholders. |

| ·Minimum 10 years of experience in civil and structural design, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within an EPC environment. · Prepare and manage design budgets and schedules. · Ensure designs are developed within allocated budgets and timelines. |
