Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned finance leader with strong expertise in accounting, compliance, IPO readiness, and financial strategy to join our organization as Deputy General Manager Accounts & Finance. The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of progressive experience in the Real Estate / Construction industry, with deep exposure to statutory compliance, IND AS reporting, audits, ERP systems, and IPO processes.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Book Closure

  • Oversee quarterly and annual book closure processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Lead accounting reviews, reconciliations, and compliance checks.
  • Prepare financial statements and detailed management reports for Board and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with IND AS standards, including revenue recognition policies and workings.

Audit & Compliance Management

  • Manage statutory audits with external auditors, ensuring clean and qualified-free audit reports.
  • Coordinate internal audits across departments and implement corrective action plans.
  • Ensure GST, TDS, and all statutory compliances with timely filings.
  • Prepare and maintain ICFR documentation and internal control frameworks for pre-IPO requirements.

IPO Readiness & Financial Strategy

  • Drive IPO readiness initiatives, including financial clean-up, documentation, and governance strengthening.
  • Develop financial models supporting IPO valuation and strategic decision-making.
  • Liaise with legal advisors and consultants for IPO documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Review contracts for revenue and cost accounting implications.

Process Improvement & Leadership

  • Lead finance team transformation through process automation and ERP implementation.
  • Strengthen internal control systems and financial governance mechanisms.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with project, legal, and commercial teams.

Key Requirements

  • Qualification: CA / MBA (Finance) preferred
  • Experience: 15+ years in Accounts & Finance within Real Estate / Construction industry
  • Strong exposure to IND AS, IPO processes, ICFR, GST, TDS, and statutory audits
  • Proven leadership experience managing large finance teams
  • Hands-on experience in ERP implementation and financial automation
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and stakeholder management skills
