About the role :
As a DGM - Industry Value Proposition for BFSI, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and delivering compelling, BFSI industry-specific customer value propositions by leveraging Tata Communications' portfolio of platforms and solutions. Your role will involve close collaboration with regional sales and solutions teams to craft tailored offerings that address key industry challenges and drive business outcomes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
You will bring a deep understanding of BFSI industry dynamics and technology trends to the table, enabling you to articulate and co-create impactful propositions that resonate with customer needs. Your ability to think strategically, communicate effectively, and work cross-functionally will be critical in influencing customer decisions and shaping go-to-market strategies.
Lead BFSI-Focused Propositions: Build tailored, high-impact value propositions addressing CX, cloud transformation, digital branches, cybersecurity, and operational resilience in BFSI.
Customer Co-Creation & Workshops: Independently lead strategic workshops with BFSI clients to understand challenges and collaboratively define solution constructs.
Solution Evangelism: Partner with regional sales and solution consultants to position digital fabric-based solutions across customer CxOs, IT, and digital teams.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the industry expert in cross-functional discussions with product, delivery, and innovation teams to influence roadmap decisions.
Use Case Definition: Own and continuously refine BFSI-centric use cases (e.g., AI-powered contact centers, cloud-hosted core banking, IoT for ATM/branch infra).
Technology Integration: Identify opportunities to integrate Tata Communications' platforms (AI, Cloud, CX Etc ) into industry solutions.
Strategic Insights & GTM Enablement: Provide sectoral insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to enable differentiated GTM strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Leverage consulting-style storytelling and value articulation skills to build credibility with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership.
Key Skills :
MBA degree with an engineering background preferred.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in techno-functional/Presales/Solutions roles in a customer-facing capacity in the BFSI Industry
Strong understanding of new age technology platforms such as cloud, IoT, AI, etc.
Proven track record of working with Systems Integrators (SIs) or large consulting firms with focus on BFSI industry
Ability to independently drive and build customer propositions while collaborating with different teams.
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
Deep understanding of BFSI

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
