JOB PROFILE: DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER – FINANCE & ACCOUNTS

About the team and role:

We are looking for a seasoned finance professional to lead regional accounting,

reporting, and controlling activities for multiple warehouses and operational units.

The ideal candidate will be a CA or MBA (Finance) with around 8 years of

experience, preferably serving as a Regional Accounts Head in reputed product-

based organizations.

This role will oversee financial reporting, cost control, and statutory compliance for

the region, ensuring accurate and timely financial management aligned with

organizational goals.

Key responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Controlling-

Manage and oversee financial reporting for all warehouses and production units

within the assigned region.

Ensure accurate and timely preparation of P&L statements, variance analyses, and

cost center reports.

Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring processes at the regional

level.

Implement and monitor cost control measures across units to enhance operational

efficiency and profitability.

Review and analyze unit-level financial performance, identifying deviations and

recommending corrective actions.

Accounting Operations-

Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes to ensure

accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

Ensure adherence to GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory and management audits.

Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with company policies and

financial standards.

Leadership & Collaboration-

Lead and mentor a team of 5+ accounting professionals, fostering a culture of

accountability and continuous improvement.

Collaborate closely with operations, warehousing, and supply chain teams to align

financial controls with business processes.

Provide management with actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, and controlling

roles.

Industry Preference: Product-based organizations – consumer durables,

manufacturing, or FMCG
