From venues to decor, photography to entertainment, makeup to mehendi - we bring everything under one roof, backed by a curated network of 2,000+ trusted vendors across cities.
Executing weddings across geographies, budget brackets, and unique client preferences requires exceptional digital and offline capabilities. Weddings are a single-take service, there are no second chances, and come with a unique set of operational challenges.
In just 18 months, we have:
- Curated a network of 2,000+ vetted vendors across 8+ destinations (India & Thailand)
- Planned & executed 400+ weddings worth 120+ crore in total service value
- Become operationally profitable (as of Oct 2024) while serving weddings in the 10 lakh - 5 crore range
- Raised 8 crore ($1M) in pre-seed funding from marquee investors including LVX, Tremis Capital, and Dropbox Co-founder Arash Ferdowsi

Role Overview
The Decor Planning Specialist will support The Wedding Companys decor category by reviewing, structuring, and standardising decor data across aesthetics, inclusions/exclusions, and pricing. This role is critical to building a scalable, tech-led decor planning and costing system.
This is a planning and analysis role, suited for candidates with strong exposure to decor production, costing, or vendor-side planning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Decor Image Planning & Review
- Analyse decor images across multiple categories (mandaps, stages, centrepieces, ambience, entrances, etc.)
- Tag images for aesthetics, themes, and use-cases based on internal frameworks
- Identify repeat elements and standardise categorisation
2. Inclusions & Exclusions Validation
- Correct inaccuracies based on real production understanding
- Ensure consistency across similar decor setups and categories
3. Pricing & Costing Corrections
- Validate overall image-level pricing (not vendor negotiation)
- Flag under-priced or over-priced references
- Align prices with category-wise production logic and market benchmarks
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 25 years experience in decor production, decor planning, or vendor-side operations
- Strong understanding of:
- Decor elements and structures
- What goes into a setup vs what is optional
- Cost drivers in wedding decor
- Comfortable working with large image datasets
- Detail-oriented, structured, and patient with repetitive review work
- Able to make judgment calls independently and justify decisions
