Decor Design & Execution Lead (Wedding Decor)

Myra Weddings is a premium wedding planning & decor company known for structured planning, strong aesthetics, and smooth on-ground execution for Punjabi & NRI weddings.

We are not looking for Instagram designers or software-heavy visualisers.

We are looking for someone who understands decor practically, enjoys site work, and takes pride in making a venue look beautiful.

This role is for someone who:

• Understands decor aesthetics, materials, colours & proportions
• Can convert client ideas into presentable design concepts
• Enjoys on-ground execution, not just desk work
• Is willing to learn, experiment, and improve
• Is hardworking, grounded, and responsible
• Takes ownership of work like its their own event

This role is NOT for people who:

• Only want fixed working hours
• Only want to design on laptop, not site
• Have attitude issues or ego problems
• Are looking for a purely corporate 96 job
  

• Attend design meetings with clients (with senior team)
• Understand client taste, references, and budget sensitivity
• Convert client ideas into structured mood boards & PPT presentations
• Ensure designs are practical as per venue, budget, and execution feasibility

• Develop decor concepts using:
• Drapes
• Props
• Florals
• Lighting
• Existing inventory creatively
• Prepare:
• Design PPTs
• Element lists
• Basic size references for production
• Reuse and redesign materials smartly to enhance aesthetics and margins

• Visit venues/sites for feasibility checks
• Be present during decor setup days
• Coordinate with:
• Decor supervisors
• Labour teams
• Production vendors
• Ensure final setup matches approved design
• Handle last-minute changes calmly and creatively
• Focus on aesthetic finishing & client satisfaction

• Work closely with junior decor staff
• Guide them on design intent & execution
• Be open to learning new ideas, materials, and techniques
• Take feedback positively and improve continuously
  

• Strong sense of aesthetics & decor styling
• Ability to make clean PPTs / Canva presentations
• Practical understanding of wedding decor execution
• Willingness to work long hours during event days
• Responsible, sincere, and committed attitude
• Ability to adjust in fast-paced wedding environments
  

• Prior experience in wedding decor / events
• Understanding of budgets & cost consciousness
• Basic knowledge of materials, florals, lighting, draping
  

Professional design degree

3D software knowledge

Fancy certifications
