About the Team and the Role

The Corporate Finance & Accounts team at Ather is responsible for maintaining the financial integrity and operational excellence of our business partnerships.

This role is for a Dealer Finance Partner who will act as an embedded finance function for assigned Ather dealerships. You will partner with Area Sales and Service Managers to assist in business planning, manage complex dealer accounting operations, and serve as a trusted financial advisor to our dealer partners to ensure alignment with Ather’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the embedded finance partner for assigned dealerships, supporting business planning and strategic activities.

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations for dealer transactions, including sales order reviews, invoicing, and receivable reconciliations.

• Review dealer claims via the Dealer Management System to ensure timely and accurate payouts for warranties and incentives.

• Drive collections and maintain receivables SLAs through consistent follow-up and engagement with dealer partners.

• Perform monthly dealer reconciliations and resolve outstanding items to enable formal balance confirmations.

• Provide expert guidance to dealers on invoicing, collections, taxation, and accounting queries by coordinating with internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with process excellence and product teams to refine the Dealer Operations Manual and improve Dealer Management System functionality.

• Conduct regular field visits and business reviews to establish strong, trusted relationships with dealer partners and regional managers.

Experience and Qualifications

• Master's in Business Administration (MBA).

• 2-4 years of experience in a sales, retail, or dealer finance role within the Automobile, FMCG, or Retail industry.

Must Have Competencies

• Execute advanced data analytics and financial modeling using Excel and VBA to drive business insights.

• Manage complex dealer accounting operations, including high-volume receivable reconciliations and sales order processing.

• Perform detailed financial assessments of dealer claims and incentive structures to ensure accurate disbursements.

• Present complex financial concepts and performance recommendations to senior management in an actionable format.

Good to have Competencies

• Utilize SAP for managing financial transactions and dealer-related accounting modules.

• Apply knowledge of retail taxation and commercial accounting standards to resolve dealer-facing queries.

• Participate as a Finance representative in cross-functional program "swimlanes" to achieve broader business objectives.

• Develop and implement standardized financial compliance frameworks within a Dealer Operations Manual.
