We at Coforge are hiring a DBT Technical Lead with the following skillset:

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
Develop, enhance, and manage DBT models and data transformations.
Perform data cleansing, validation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Support cloudbased data engineering workloads, preferably on GCP.
Write optimized SQL queries for analytical use cases and data processing.
Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Architects to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Monitor data pipeline health, proactively troubleshoot issues, and ensure high data availability.
Document data workflows, models, mappings, and technical processes clearly and consistently.

Required Skills (MustHave)

Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
Advanced SQL proficiency for data analysis and transformation.
Handson experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling.
Experience with at least one major cloud platform: GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, GCS preferred), or AWS / Azure with equivalent data services.
Experience with data transformation and data loading technologies.
Good working knowledge of Python for data engineering and analytical tasks.

Good to Have

PySpark or similar distributed data processing experience.
Exposure to Airflow / Cloud Composer. Experience with Data Catalog / Dataplex (or similar metadata services).
Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and version-controlled workflows.
